In 2005, we created the Aventure M.E.N.E.C association (House of Energy, Nature and Environment of Carnac) with the aim of :<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Minimizing the environmental impact of park activities while maintaining high-quality services<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Promoting eco-citizenship among visitors through awareness initiatives<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading has-text-align-center\">Our facilities: offices, workshops and reception building<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>High environmental quality wooden-frame building, fully dismantlable<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Eco-friendly materials widely used: wood wool, cellulose wadding, untreated wood \u2014 all recyclable, reusable and natural<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Dry toilets and composting of solid by-products<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Rainwater harvesting<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Recycling bins<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Low-energy light bulbs<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Wood heating<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Local and short supply chain purchasing policy<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Composting center for our green waste<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading has-text-align-center\">Our consumption practices<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>We reuse paper (scrap use) and prioritize recycled paper.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>We limit paper printing and favor sending documents electronically.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading has-text-align-center\">Our travel<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>We encourage carpooling and phone meetings instead of in-person meetings.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>We use electric vehicles for certain trips.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading has-text-align-center\">Our construction methods<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Use of untreated natural wood<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Optimization of travel<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Local suppliers close to construction sites<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Material recycling<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Wooden petal platforms (designed and developed by For\u00eat Adr\u00e9naline) that respect trees.
