Our construction team is currently working at Château-Thierry… No, not to renovate their magnificent château, but rather to work on their leisure activities !

The client’s needs and expectations

  • A complete renovation of their net course : the installation had become outdated and no longer provided the desired level of safety. The client wanted to replace the nets, which had been installed five years ago by another provider.
  • Replacing the nets was important, but the real priority was to find a long-lasting solution and avoid having to replace the nets every five years.

What we proposed and what the client approved

  • Give their ageing installation a new lease of life.
  • Replace the existing knotted nets, which offer limited durability, with a much stronger and longer-lasting solution: woven polyamide nets, extending the expected lifespan from 5–7 years to 12–15 years.
  • Preserve and reuse as many existing elements as possible, making the most of anything that could still be used and avoiding unnecessary replacement through repair and maintenance.
  • Replace the existing net attachment systems to prevent the trees from being strangled by the old cables.
  • Use advanced and carefully developed installation techniques, combined with carefully selected materials, to reduce maintenance requirements and extend the lifespan of the installation — potentially doubling it.
  • Choose net colours that blend naturally into the surroundings and complement the château.
  • Provide a long-term maintenance plan to help keep the installation in good condition for as many years as possible.

We’ll tell you more once the project is completed…
