Our environmental commitment

At Forêt Adrénaline, we are committed to preserving our planet. Since our creation on June 6, 2004, we have integrated sustainable practices into all our activities, placing environmental protection at the core of our mission. Here’s how we act to preserve our beautiful planet !

Aventure M.E.N.E.C association

In 2005, we founded the Aventure M.E.N.E.C (House of Energies, Nature, and Environment of Carnac) association with the goal of minimizing the impact of our activity on the environment while offering quality services. Our mission also extends to raising awareness among our clients about eco-citizenship.

To protect the planet, we implement several concrete actions:

Awareness and information

  • Exhibition Panels: We inform our clients on-site through exhibition panels about best ecological practices and local environmental initiatives.
  • Educational Games for Children and Workshops for Companies: We offer educational programs to raise children’s awareness of environmental issues, notably with the new game “On the Trail of Gwez and His Eco-Responsible House” in Rennes. We also organize awareness and training workshops to help companies adopt sustainable practices.

Ecological resource management

  • Recycled Materials and Environmentally Friendly Products: We use recycled and recyclable materials in our installations and promote the use of environmentally friendly products.
  • Responsible Consumption Modes: We reuse paper as much as possible, limit paper prints, and offer local and fair-trade products such as biscuits and local beverages.

Waste reduction

  • Sorting Systems and Composting: We implement waste sorting systems and use dry toilets and composting systems for waste.
  • Information and Awareness: On-site information panels encourage our visitors to sort their waste and adopt eco-responsible behaviors.

Energy saving

  • Energy-Efficient Installations: Our facilities are designed to optimize energy efficiency, and we use renewable energy sources as much as possible.
  • Sustainable Transportation: We encourage carpooling and prioritize remote meetings.

Biodiversity protection

  • Continuous Improvements: We constantly strive to find ways to minimize our environmental impact.
  • Local Suppliers: We collaborate with local suppliers to reduce the carbon footprint associated with material transportation.
  • Petal Platform: This innovative system uses a ratchet strap that doesn’t strangle the trunk. By tightening and loosening the strap, the tree can “breathe” freely, ensuring its health and growth.
  • Nail Fixation: This method involves a superficial drilling of the trunk to insert a specially designed nail.
  • Testing and Feedback: We continuously test new fastening systems and seek feedback to find the best solutions. This ensures our methods are as non-invasive as possible for the trees.
  • Commitment: Tree protection is at the heart of our concerns. Every step of our construction process is designed to minimize the impact on trees and promote their well-being.

Additional commitments

  • Partnership with Clim’Actions: We actively participate in tree planting to contribute to reforestation and combat climate change.
  • Tourism Quality Label: We have obtained the Tourism Quality label, recognizing our commitment to key themes such as hospitality, information, and sustainability.
  • CSR Support: We have begun our CSR support with the Ille et Vilaine Chamber of Commerce and Industry, demonstrating our commitment to corporate social responsibility.
  • Collaboration with Ty Waste: We work with Ty Waste to manage and reduce our waste more effectively and ecologically.

Environmentally friendly premises

  • Ecological Construction: Our offices, workshops, and reception buildings are built according to strict environmental standards with light foundations transportable without heavy equipment, fully demountable.
  • Dry Toilets and Composting: Our facilities are equipped with dry toilets and solid waste composting systems.
  • Rainwater Harvesting: We collect rainwater to supply our handwashing stations and clean equipment.
  • Ecological Materials: We use materials such as wood wool and cellulose wadding, and prefer wood heating.

Sustainable transportation

  • Carpooling: We encourage carpooling.
  • Diesel Trucks: Our construction teams use diesel trucks.
  • Eco-Bonuses: Bonuses are awarded to employees who come to work by bike or using ecological means of transport.

A small gesture can make a big difference

We still have a lot of work to do and can still do better (reduce plastic waste, reduce our carbon footprint from travel, etc.).

We firmly believe in the importance of every gesture to preserve our environment. During your visit to Forêt Adrénaline, we invite you to adopt responsible behaviors towards your waste:

  • Do not litter: Use the available trash bins.
  • Use recycling bins: Recycle cardboard, bottles, cans, and other recyclable materials.
  • Deposit other waste in the regular trash: Help keep our park clean and pleasant for everyone.

By doing so, you contribute to a broader change in favor of preserving our planet. Together, we can make a difference!
