Access for people with disabilities
At Forêt Adrénaline Carnac, we believe that outdoor recreation should be accessible to as many people as possible. Located a few minuts away from the beaches, we welcome visitors to a natural setting designed to foster discovery, sharing, and inclusion.
We do everything we can to ensure that people with disabilities, their families, and their companions can enjoy a pleasant day.
Our team is here to assist and advise you before your visit, helping you choose the activities best suited to your needs.
To ensure a warm welcome and high-quality service, we recommend the following:
- Choose an activity during less crowded time slots, which are usually in the morning. Check our schedule and peak times.
- It’s best to contact us in advance so we can best organize your visit and tailor the activity to your needs.
- We also recommend that individuals with disabilities be accompanied.
- Please let us know at the ticket counter when you arrive so that we can coordinate among our staff to provide you with the best possible assistance based on your situation.
- Enjoy a 20% discount upon presentation of your CMI card
Activities Tailored to Each Person’s Abilities
Because every situation is different, we prioritize an individualized approach. Some of our activities may be accessible—either fully or partially—depending on each participant’s type of disability and level of independence.
Accessibility
People with limited mobility
Our park is partially accessible to people with limited mobility.
We have accessible parking space in the park’s parking lot.
When you arrive at the park, please let us know—an access ramp is available, and our team will assist you.
You can follow certain trails on foot. However, since we’re located in a forest park, the ground isn’t paved, and branches and roots may make it difficult for a wheelchair to pass.
We recommend that you exercise caution and be accompanied by someone, but we do everything we can to ensure you receive excellent service.
The restrooms are accessible with a wheelchair
People with sensory disabilities
The instructional video has subtitles in French and English, so you’ll have no trouble following along. Our team is here to welcome you and guide you through the activity.
People with mobility impairments
We do not have any specific restrictions on participation. If you feel capable of participating in the activity, we will do everything we can to support you as best as possible.
Some courses require strength and balance. We therefore recommend, depending on your physical abilities, that you choose less challenging courses and/or participate with a companion.
Our team is here to help you choose the right trails.
People with mental disabilities / intellectual disabilities and cognitive disabilities
Our tree-top adventure park is open to everyone, and our team is here to help and advise you.
However, we recommend that you visit during less crowded times to avoid overcrowded courses and overstimulation.
In addition, depending on individual needs, we recommend that people with mental disabilities or intellectual disabilities be accompanied on the courses. Each request is reviewed on a case-by-case basis to provide the most appropriate solution.
