Commitment to the environment

Adventure park with a focus on biodiversity and sustainable development, as well as a commitment to environmental preservation. Through our environmental approach, Forêt Adrénaline and Corsaire Aventure created the association Aventure M.E.N.E.C in 2005 (House of Energies, Nature, and Environment of Carnac). The purpose of this association is to:

  • Minimize the impact of the park’s activity on the environment while maintaining a high-quality experience.
  • Promote environmental awareness and eco-citizenship among our customers through education and awareness initiatives.

Modes of consumption

  • Paper reuse (using drafts)
  • Preference for the use of recycled paper.
  • Limitation of paper printing.
  • Encouraging the sending of documents electronically.
  • Promotion of fair trade, local, and low-sugar/calorie consumer products (local beverages).

Local: offices, workshops, and reception building

  • Ecologically-friendly materials are widely preferred: wood wool, cellulose wadding, untreated wood… In other words, recyclable, reusable, and natural materials.
  • Dry toilets and composting of solid by-products.
  • Rainwater harvesting.
  • Separate waste bins for recycling.
  • Low-energy light bulbs.
  • Preference for local products and short supply chains in purchasing.
  • Composting center for our organic waste.

Business trips

  • We promote carpooling and conduct phone meetings.
  • We use electric vehicles for commercial prospecting in the Pays d’Auray region during the season.

We promote eco-friendly behaviors that raise awareness

  • Encouraging visitors to use recycling bins and separate their waste.
  • Providing educational signage about the importance of energy conservation and water preservation.
  • Offering information and tips on sustainable practices, such as reducing water and energy consumption.
  • Organizing environmental workshops and activities to educate visitors about biodiversity, conservation, and sustainable living.
  • Promoting the use of reusable water bottles and discouraging the use of single-use plastics.
  • Encouraging visitors to respect the natural surroundings, including plants, animals, and ecosystems.
  • Highlighting the benefits of using public transportation or biking/walking to reach our location.
  • Offering eco-friendly merchandise and souvenirs made from recycled or sustainable materials.
  • Partnering with local environmental organizations and participating in community clean-up events.

Construction methods

  • Use of untreated natural wood,
  • Optimization of transportation,
  • Local suppliers close to the construction sites,
  • Material recycling,
  • Wooden petal platforms (designed and developed by Forêt Adrénaline) respecting the trees: They are fixed around the tree using straps, avoiding any harm to the tree. This allows the tree to grow without any issues.

A small gesture can make all the difference!

You will find recycling bins on site, and we kindly ask you to be mindful of your waste.

  • Do not litter paper on the ground.
  • Dispose of recyclable items such as cardboard, bottles, and cans in the designated recycling bin.
  • Dispose of other waste in the regular trash bin.

These small actions allow us to keep the park clean and create a pleasant environment for everyone. We also hope that these instructions resonate with our entire clientele and that each person adopts these habits, which are necessary for the preservation of our planet!
