Tree-Top Adventure in Saint-Malo — Corsaire Aventure at Fort Saint-Père
Welcome to Corsaire Aventure’s FAQ. Are you planning a tree-top adventure or an outdoor activity just a stone’s throw from the famous City of the Corsairs? Find all the practical information you need to plan your visit.
How do I get to the Corsaire Aventure tree-top adventure park?
Our park is located at Fort de Saint-Père, 9 km south of Saint-Malo, in Brittany.
Coming from Rennes / Dinan / Dol-de-Bretagne via the D137 (a 2×2-lane road):
Take the D74 exit toward Châteauneuf-d’Ille-et-Vilaine.
At the roundabout, take the first exit onto the D74 toward Fort de St-Père / Cancale / La Gouesnière.
Then take the first left—a slight uphill road that will lead you to our parking lot.
Coming from St-Malo / Dinard via the D137 (two-lane highway):
Take the D74 exit toward Châteauneuf-d’Ille-et-Vilaine.
At the first roundabout, take the 4th exit (D74) toward Fort de St-Père / Cancale / La Gouesnière.
At the second roundabout, take the 2nd exit (D74) toward Fort de St-Père / Cancale / La Gouesnière.
Then take the first left, a slight uphill stretch that will lead you to our parking lot.
From St-Brieuc:
Take the E401/E50/N12 for 28 km, then take the N176/E401 exit toward Les Bois de Boudan/Dinan/Saint-Malo/Caen/Jugon-les-Lacs
From Saint-Lô:
Take the N174 for 70 km, then take the A84 toward the N175 at Poilley. Stay in the right lane to continue on the N175, following signs for Saint-Brieuc/Saint-Malo/Le-Mont-Saint-Michel/Pontorson.
By bus
Using the MAT network, start by booking your ride through the On-Demand Transportation (MAT) service. Visit the service’s official website at reseau-mat.fr or download the MAT mobile app.
Select your departure stop, such as Saint-Malo Gares or Saint-Malo Centre, or any other stop served by the service. Select “Covoiturage Le Fort (Saint-Père-Marc-En-Poulet)” as your destination.
Once you arrive at the stop, walk to Parc Corsaire Aventure (about a 5- to 7-minute walk):
Head toward the D74 and continue straight for about 100 meters.
Turn left onto the road and continue for 350 meters.
Turn slightly right onto the road, then walk another 20 meters. You’ll arrive at Parc Corsaire Aventure.
By Bike
The park is accessible by bike; mountain bike trails around Fort de Saint-Père are available along most of the route.
Be sure to leave a few minutes early so you don’t miss the start!

Is a reservation required?
We strongly recommend making a reservation on our website. It’s completely free and quick.
During peak times, we cannot guarantee you a spot if you haven’t made a reservation.

How much time should I allow at the park, and when should I arrive?
To ensure a smooth start to your visit, please arrive at the park’s reception desk 20 minutes before your exact reservation time (to check in and store your personal belongings).
Duration of our activities:
- Tree-top adventure course: 2 hours and 30 minutes.
- Tree-top adventure + TrampÔforest: 3 hours of thrills (2 hours and 30 minutes of tree-top adventure + 30 minutes of TrampÔforest)
- TrampÔforest® only: 1 hour of activity.
PLEASE NOTE: The last admission to the activity is 2 hours and 30 minutes before the park closes (1 hour and 30 minutes for TrampÔforest® only).
At what age can children start climbing? What children’s courses are available?
The park offers tree-climbing courses suitable for children as young as 2 years old!
What are the supervision rules for children and minors?
Pitchoun Activity (ages 2–3)
-An adult must remain on the ground next to the course and next to the child.
KID1 Activity (ages 4–6)
-We require at least one adult to supervise from the ground (free of charge)
-You have the option to climb with your child on the Kid1 courses (KID1 companion fee: €13)
-You can also purchase an Adult ticket (€23), which gives you access to all of the park’s courses. However, under no circumstances may the child be left unsupervised by you
KID2 Activity (Ages 7–9)
-Children may climb the courses on their own, but an adult must be present in the park.
– You may climb with your child on the KID2 courses (KID2 companion fee: €16).
-You can also purchase an Adult ticket (€23), which grants you access to all of the park’s courses. However, your child must remain under your supervision at all times.
For children under 14
-Children may climb the courses on their own, but an adult must be present in the park (to supervise from the ground).
For minors between the ages of 14 and 17 (under 18)
-An adult is not required to stay on site but must sign a parental consent form at the front desk.

Admission to the park remains free and open to anyone who stays on the ground and does not participate in the activity.
Is it possible to move up to a higher category if you’re used to doing tree-top adventure courses?
If a child or teenager falls between two age categories or wishes to tackle courses in the higher age category, they may be able to move up to the higher category under certain conditions:
– Be fairly athletic or have prior experience with the activity
– Meet the minimum height requirement
– Be accompanied by an adult
– Have completed all the courses in the basic age category without difficulty
– Have the approval of the supervisor on duty
In this case, you’ll need to return to the reception desk to pay an additional fee.
Is an introductory session required even if you’re used to doing this?
The safety briefing (video + introductory session) at the start of the activity is MANDATORY, even if you’ve already done tree-top adventure courses at another park or at Corsaire Aventure
If you’ve already visited Corsaire Aventure this year, we’ll verify your understanding of the park’s safety guidelines (a legal requirement). We’ll then allow you to access the courses without watching the introductory video again; however, completing the introductory course is still REQUIRED every time you visit.
Am I really safe in your adventure park? What safety system do you have in place?
You’ll be required to watch a video briefing and complete an introductory session on our test course, supervised by a qualified operator.
All courses are equipped with a continuous lifeline system.
This ensures you remain secured from the start of the course to the end, allowing you to enjoy the activity in complete safety.
Unlike a double-carabiner system, you cannot unhook yourself without the assistance of an operator.
A forestry expert and a playground safety inspector inspect the site annually, and we are regularly audited by the DDCS.
Finally, Forêt Adrénaline employs and trains its own course builders (we build tree-top adventure courses and net courses in France and abroad, in addition to maintaining existing parks). How do the introductory session, briefing, and initial instructions take place?
Safety always begins on the ground. Before heading up into the trees, everyone—beginners and experienced participants alike—must go through our introductory area. You’ll first watch an explanatory video briefing detailing the basic safety guidelines and how the equipment works. Next, each participant must complete a low-height test course under the watchful and supportive eye of our professional operators to demonstrate their skills.
What payment methods are accepted?
We accept the following payment methods: credit cards (we do not accept AMEX), cash, vacation checks (ANCV and Connect), and bank checks
If you have tickets (prepaid, free tickets, employee association tickets, etc.), please book your activity online and present your tickets on-site upon arrival
Online payment is not available
Payments are made directly at the ticket counter
I wasn’t able to use my pre-purchased or gifted ticket, and the date has now passed. What can I do?
Prepaid tickets, Works Council tickets, and prize tickets are generally valid for the current or upcoming season.
If you purchased a ticket through your companyl: You’ll need to contact your company to explain your situation.

If you won a ticket in a contest or at a fair…: We do not extend the validity period of tickets that were given away.
Are there any contraindications for participating in a tree-top adventure course?
We set a maximum weight limit of 110 kg, taking into account the person’s body type and physical fitness (regular exercise).
We strongly advise against participation for anyone with health issues that could be aggravated by physical activity.
The activity is prohibited for pregnant women.
The activity is also prohibited for anyone who is intoxicated or has consumed substances that could impair their abilities.
What clothing and equipment should I bring?
We provide all safety equipment (harnesses). You are not allowed to climb with your own harness.
Helmets / Gloves: This activity does not require gloves or a helmet.
However, if you’d like to bring your own helmet and gloves, you’re welcome to do so.
Gloves are available for purchase at the park’s reception desk for €3 per pair (not required).
Closed-toe shoes are required.
Sandals, flip-flops, Crocs, ballet flats, high heels, and cleats are strictly prohibited.
Wear comfortable, athletic clothing. Shorts and Bermuda shorts are permitted.
Long hair must be tied back.
For your comfort and safety, we advise against piercings and crop tops.
Can the activity take place if it rains?
Tree climbing is an activity that depends on weather conditions.
The activity will go ahead in light or moderate rain.
If you would nevertheless like to cancel your activity, please let us know as soon as possible.
Corsaire Aventure reserves the right to suspend or adjust activities depending on weather conditions.
For your safety: in the event of a thunderstorm, strong winds, heavy rain, or extreme heat, the activity may be adjusted (closure of certain courses/activities, early closure, or delayed opening); the park staff may also decide to suspend activities and close the park.
We are committed to notifying our customers as soon as possible.
Is the park accessible to people with disabilities?
Yes, we welcome people with disabilities, including intellectual, visual, hearing, and mobility impairments. Tree-climbing activities can be enjoyed under certain conditions:
The person must be able to participate independently; staff members are on hand to assist all participants.
-We STRONGLY RECOMMEND that individuals with disabilities be accompanied by someone.

-If you are unable to participate in the activity, we will refund your admission fee upon exiting the trial courses.
Can we have a picnic or buy food on site? Is there drinking water available?
Picnic tables are available for your use.
We sell cold drinks and sodas, as well as organic fruit juices. We also offer a selection of cookies.
Don’t forget to bring a water bottle, as there are no drinking fountains within the park.
You’re welcome to have a picnic, enjoy a snack, or bring your own meal to the park.
Recycling bins are available for your use.
Where can I store my personal belongings while I’m climbing?
Free lockers are available for your use.
The park assumes no responsibility for any loss or theft of items left outside these lockers.
Are pets allowed?
Pets are welcome in the park as long as they are kept on a leash.
Groups, Seminars, Bachelor/Bachelorette Parties, School and College Field Trips: Can we organize an outing to the park?
Whether it’s a team-building event or a corporate seminar, a school field trip (elementary, middle, or high school), a recreation center outing, a children’s birthday party, or a bachelor or bachelorette party, we offer custom packages!
What are the refund policies?
To request a refund, you must contact the park by email or phone, or in person at the front desk.
Anyone who, after receiving the safety instructions, does not feel physically or mentally capable of performing the necessary maneuvers correctly and independently must refrain from participating in the activity.
The same applies to anyone who fails the practical assessment on the introductory course.
In both of these cases, we can refund the service.
Any other refund request without a valid reason will be denied.
What is the procedure for filing a complaint?

After contacting customer service and if no satisfactory response is received within 60 days, the customer may contact the Tourism and Travel Ombudsman, whose contact information and procedures for filing a complaint are available on its website: www.mtv.travel.
